Mary Yezek
My artwork reflects variety, for I am a variety of people: female,
wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and perhaps an adversary.
As time and chance changes every aspect, I, too, am in flux.
Art can go along with life and circumstances. It can stay the
same, take stark chances, and then go back to the comfortable.
Hopefully, each transition has a growing experience attached.
What type of artist am I? Watercolorist, collage artist, print-maker,
sculptress? I never want to be one thing. I am pulled to try
the variety that art has to offer. From realism to whimsical,
2-D to 3-D, each project offers the opportunity to vent my feelings,
whether joy or sorrow. It is my passion and my solace.
